Confessing Sin - Against Who God Is

As I have been studying more about prayer I came across something written by John Piper that made me pause and examine myself and how often I stop and consider how I have treated God in light of all that He is.

Every day do I consider the quality of my relationship with Him and whether I have offended Who He is or just the sins I commit that affect others. I know all sin is against God, but I really didn't understand it in this way. I must say it was a rude awakening to realize that I take so much of who God is for granted.

This has become part of my daily prayer time, to examine how I have sinned against Him in a more intimate way by examining my behavior and attitudes against His marvelous attributes. I hope it will take you to another level of intimacy with Him as it has me. With love and blessings, Carole

The One Another Passages
For God's Children

Ever wonder what to say when people tell you they are christian and really love God, but see no need to attend church. If we truly love God, first and greatest commandment, then we are also to obey the second commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves. Impossible to carry out if we don't want to be with fellow christians.

Here are lots of reasons God has called us into fellowship with others believers especially:
